PECO Launches Gas Line Upgrade Project in Ridley Township

🚧 IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR RIDLEY TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS 🚧

Beginning Wednesday, April 30th, PECO and its contractor will begin jack and bore work along Haverford Road at MacDade Boulevard as part of the Ridley X01 Large Diameter Main Replacement Project.

📍 What to Expect:

• Haverford Road will be closed 24/7 between MacDade Blvd and Arlington Ave

• The work is expected to last approximately 8 weeks

• Local access will remain open from Arlington Ave for residents in the affected area

• Emergency services and trash removal access will be maintained

This work is being performed to install new underground natural gas lines, enhancing long-term safety and service reliability.

📎 Residents in the immediate area were directly notified by the contractor. A copy of the official PECO letter is attached for reference.
