Ridley Township has authorized a Declaration of Disaster Emergency effective April 23rd at 8:00am to coincide with the closure of Crozer and Taylor Hospital Emergency Rooms and the unknown termination date of Crozer EMS. Ridley Township will continue to be covered by Woodlyn Fire Company ambulance for BLS services, which will not be affected by the discontinuation of Crozer services. Holmes Fire Company, which operates the other BLS unit in Ridley Township is working on staffing arrangements to continue uninterrupted service also. The Board of Commissioners are working on a solution to provide ALS service once Crozer EMS ceases operations.
