2026 Leaf Collection Schedule

Leaf collection begins Monday, October 26. Here is when crews will be in your ward:

Wards 1, 2, 4: Weeks of October 26 and November 16

Wards 5, 6, 9: Weeks of November 2 and November 23

Wards 3, 7, 8: Weeks of November 9 and November 30

Raked leaves: Place leaves along the curbline in the grass area. Please do not put leaves in the street. Leaves only. Pine needles, grass clippings and other debris can break down the machine and delay collection for everyone. Park off-street wherever possible so crews can reach the curb.

Bagged leaves: Bagged leaves can go out on your regular trash day. Keep them separate from your regular trash.

Branches and shrubbery: Drop off at the Public Works Garage, 2nd and Sutton Avenues, Folsom, the first Wednesday of every month, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Upcoming dates: Wednesday, November 4 and Wednesday, December 2. Trimmings must be no more than 4" in diameter, no longer than 4' and bundled under 50 lbs.

Burning leaves is prohibited by law.

Crews will do their best to stay on schedule, but volume and weather can cause delays. Thank you for your patience.
