Our community is grieving. The Ridley Township Board of Commissioners extends its deepest condolences and unwavering support to the families of Abigail “Abby” Gillon, age 12, and Isabella “Bella” Jones, age 11, two bright, beloved Ridley Township students who were tragically struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter in Aston on Saturday, June 14th.
We are devastated to learn of Abby’s passing. No words can ease the pain of such a heartbreaking loss. Our hearts are with her parents, family, friends, teachers, and all who had the joy of knowing her. May her memory be a light that lives on in those she touched.
Bella remains in critical condition. We are holding her close in our thoughts, praying for healing, strength, and comfort for her and all who love her.
